I like the calendar Channon. Number 10 in particular!
It reminded me, we were driving up the M5 on New Years Day and Amanda drew my attention to the red Toyota Corolla that was passing us... It had one of those stupid Christmas hats (you know, the ones that people wear to Christmas parties or to work on Christmas Eve or whatever then throw away I guess) on the head rest of EACH seat! As we starred in amazement and discussed how ridiculously excited some people, (ADULTS!), get about Christmas we noticed the registration... it was “25 DEC”!!! What possesses these people???

Did I tell you that we woke up at Amanda’s parents new house in Weston-Super-Mare on New Years Day, (after celebrating New Year at her brother’s (Mark’s) house round the corner), to find their garage and garden totally flooded? We spent most of the day moving water around, although only getting it out of the flooded areas slight faster than it was getting in. In the end I had to climb over a fence into a flooded ditch and create an impromptu damn of clayey mud and sticks, which seemed to solve the problem. I think I am now an honorary Beaver (the large tooth and flat tailed variety, not the child worrying variety). Expect humours photos soon.
