OK, its Thursday, which means I blog most of the contents of The Guardian Online. Today, you can read about:
- the US Future Combat System (FCS), and stop and think... “Fuck me, the Terminator films were right!”
- find a whole new load of e-Government services, such as “the official database of residential property prices” I wonder what that bunker is worth?
- John Harper (former managing director of BT's inland operations, and has been an adviser to Commons select committees on broadband) explains why BT should be aloud to be a monopoly again! Hmm.
- All the latest gadgets from the International Consumer Electronics Show (ICES) in Las Vegas
- Apparently hackers are not just nerds, according to this article about social-hacking, or is it just a plug for Kevin Mitnick’s new book, the art of deception.
- Sean, if you still play the Hollywood Stock Exchange, and if you’re any good at it, you might want to read how you could make some real money out of it. Not that I condone gambling – so don’t say I told you to do it.
And some recommended sites: Read the history of electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire, best know for her production of the Dr Who theme. Watch the US national debt clock!
