I had fun at work today. If you want your IT bods at work to have fun then simply follow the recipe that some little scrote cooked up for me today:

Denial of Service Pie.

Preperation time: 5-20 seconds
cooking time: Almost insantanious (Works best with a win98 network)
Best served: When all of the tech dept. apart from one are off ill.

Ingredients:
1x Cat5 Network cable with RJ45 plugs (any patch lead will do)
2x RJ45 Ethernet points.

Cooking instructions:
1. Take one end of your patch cable and instert it into one of the network point.
2. This is the difficult bit, pay attention. Insert the other end of your patch cabel into the other network point.
3. Leave. (or preferably get your teacher to move the class to another lab and back again because you've brought the entire network down and no computers work!)

Watch as your techies run around franticaly, tearing thier hair out trying to isolate the flooded link and trace it back to your cable.

I thought about it and it would be easy to knock up a single RJ45 plug and two wires, to replace the cable and one of the network points. The face plate may even close, then your techies could have even more fun!!
