Google now features in inbuilt calculator, with unit conversion.
Examples:
pi*3^2
11stones in kg
(G * mass of earth) / (radius of earth ^ 2)
1.21 GW / 88 mph
10*log((10^(60/10))+(10^(60/10))) (Thats 60dB + 60dB btw)
Note: Imperial measurements such as cups, teaspoons, tablespoons etc. are US not UK sizes.
It’s only a few steps away from being a command line now. I don’t know if the people at Google are thinking of adding this sort of feature but think of the possibilities; ftp and file system access, fetchmail etc., BASIC / Matlab / Pascal style step programming, maybe even C++/Java object orientated programming eventually? Who knows? Then think of the hacking potential...
