:: Wednesday, September 17, 2003 :: Our work canteen had a traditional London themed day yesterday (without Eels! What were they thinking!?) with a main course of Roast Beef and boiled to death vegetables, and a desert of Lockshen Pudding with Stewed Prunes. I’d never heard of Lockshen Pudding so decided to look it up. It seems to be a traditional Jewish recipe made from noodles and cheese (not the first ingredients that spring to mind for a desert). If you’re as intrigued as I was have a look at the recipe. The site also contains the secrete of Chicken Soup, and load of other suggestions. Not to mention Jews Reunited... I wonder if Optimus Prime has registered?
