I've not really come across much of interest today (except perhaps this FAQ about English words from AskOxford via Grom) so a quick troll of the beeb site produced the following:

Damn this link for turning out to be about a boy band. Although, it probably wouldn't have even made the news if it was about a girl band, it seems to be perfectly acceptable to see women in quasi-BDSM roles on primetime TV, which is a good thing for perverts like me and why I watch Top of the Pops after all.
