Gusset's new self-released CDr "Skidmark" is now available from dSWAT. It is summarised on the site as follows: "Bristol based electronic duo Gusset bring us another self-released cdr of freakish delights. Featured within are 11 tracks of a joyful, strange and sometimes disturbing nature. There is the occasional flashback to Gusset's earlier days of indie rock, but the peak comes on 'Simon's got a bad ass' when classic hip-hop sample (can't remember name of tune) is chopped up with some warped noise wobble. Not to mention "99 high ho's don't make it right', with it's bangra-disco-gabba infusions. Also contains 13 minute bonus mix." If that doesn't make you want to buy it then at least it saves me having to burn more copies, but I do want to spend my weekends burning CDs, really, I do.
