More money than sense

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a 20,000 Euro mobile phone in a jewellers shop window in Munich:

Then, when flicking through a magazine, I found an ad for it:

Thank you for your insight. You're right, I obviously do not know the "meaning" of this waste of 20,000 Euros (which is possibly equivalent to the combined value of all of my assets).

"How low life can you be"? That made me laugh. You must look down on a lot of people from your high and mighty position there.

I am enjoying my lowlife, thank you very much.
If you already have this phone, I hope it makes you happy.
If you only aspire to have it, I hope you can find true happiness in your shallow search for material wealth.

of course 20.000euros is a waste for you because you can not afford it!!!hello!!!!and yes i have TWO vertu myself!!and let me guess your cellphone ...a regular nokia perhaps all in plastic!!!as for me i don't have to work and save money...i just checked out your profile eeeeww electronic music?!!

Thank you for getting back to me. I am starting to build up a mental picture of you, but it doesn't help that you still hind behind your veil on anonymity.

We live in very different worlds, and both seem quite happy where we are.

Regardless, what does it matter what mobile phone a person uses, if they chose to have one at all? It is just a tool. Like a car. I see no point in having expensive easily damaged or lost possessions. Why would I carry an object so likely to get stolen? Why would I drive a nice car as it's only going to get scratched?

You have two of these? Do you need two? Why don't you sell one and give the money to charity? Then, perhaps, other people may have some respect for you.

and yes i need two vertus my dear dan,because it depends on which,where,and whom dinner party i'm invited...
in your world cellphones are just a tool,BUT in my world it's THE cellphone...people just don't see the meaning of life,you only live once so might as well enjoy!!and how come you people see our way of living so differently?
