:: Friday, September 02, 2005 :: This was ages ago. I just found the photos recently, so I'll keep the review brief and post the pictures. Scotch Egg was amazing. Even watching him live it's still difficult to believe that every sound he makes is coming either out of a gameboy or his mouth. Milanese is good, very interesting stuff, very dark, pretty slow, and with twisted hip hop like rhythms; think Prefuse 73 meets Detach'i. Seems a bit too slow for the crowd though, who thin out considerably. As Punksi put it, "If it's less than 200bmp, they don't know what to do." Shame, as it's really very good. Exile is amazing as always. I rave about his live sets constantly so I don't need to go over that again. Exile also won the scotch egg eating competition afterwards, but the rank egg smell that filled the room was disgusting, I dread to think how long they'd been out of refrigeration. I hope no-one got ill. Anyway, here are the photos:
Comments:
Yeah, I've started carrying my "proper" camera to gigs more often instead of disposables. The results are definitely worth it.

The ribbons do work nicely. I was thinking about installing a similar arrangement around my desk in the office. Links to this post:
