The Men Who Stare At Goats

The book, by Jon Ronson, was the original inspiration behind the GoatLab Radio show and now club night. So I thought I ought to read it before playing at the night.

My summary: Interesting and humorous look at the history of "out-of-the-box thinking" in the US military. Starts in a light hearted and amusing way by tracing peoples attempts to walk through walls and kill goats by staring at them and turns to darker material about alleged CIA assassinations towards the end. A well researched good read.




I've now tagged my copy for Book Crossing and will be releasing it into the wild @ T2 on Friday.

I would also recommed his previous book, "Them: Adventures With Extremists".
