DVD/CD Review: Kodo – One Earth Tour Special (Sony/BMG)

I just spotted this in Fopp at lunch time and made an impulse purchase. I've been looking for a chance to see this live for years but never found out about a show in time. At least now I can enjoy it in my own home. The CD is is everything I'd hopped for. I love this type of complex rhythmic work (like I was referring to in my review of Zatôichi yesterday). I'm sure the DVD of the same material will not disappoint. I'd recommend this to any one interested in either Eastern music or complex drumming. If, like me, you like both you can't lose.
