Found on a building site in Gloucestershire last week.
Please ID.
I think it may be from space.

I'm pretty sure it's a ladybird larva.

Larvae of Ladybird
I should have thought of that as there were a lot of ladybirds nearby (six of them loving a piece of blue rope). But the larvae seemed so much bigger than the adult I would never have guessed.

I recently had a small infestation of them in my room. I got a bit freaked out by them because I had no idea what they were and was alarmed that there were quite a few of them popping up all over my room, so I squashed them all.

Now I feel stupid and remorseful!
