Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all our readers!

The Christmas madness is nearly behind us. I’ve already played the first Gusset gig of 2008, at 2:30 this morning. It sounded good and I think I played quite well, but attendance at the Hijack NYW party was disappointing and lower still by the time I played. Never mind. I had a wicked night nonetheless. Really enjoyed the sets from Wascal & Superisk, Phaeleh, and Cheeba’s midnight set, great way to welcome in the New Year! Chime just before midnight, auld lang sign with breaks, then Killing In The Name. Inspired!

The next gig is on Thursday, when I'll be selecting my Desert Island Disks at the Hillgrove from 8pm. Then I'm taking a break until the Valentine Goatlab in Feb.
