They say that if someone dies in their house and isn't found for some time, their dog would stay with them and die itself, whilst the cat would just eat them. I always took this is a sign that cats are more intelligent than dogs. They still have survival skills that dogs have forgotten. But when Natali posted this picture I began to suspect that it's nothing to do with survival, they're just biding their time.
