Doesn't it seem strange that something for which it's main selling point is it's nutritional balance, it contains eight things you might be allergic to?

I agree, they are. It was a nice sandwich. The point I was making was about the huge number of things various people have developed allergies to and how that would affect their ability to eat a balanced diet.
