Banksy has done it again. This time he's displayed a stuffed rat with miniature wrap around shades, rucksack, mic and spray can in the Natural History Museum.

Why does the Blake Edwards link on the front page of IMDb take you to the Wendy Barrie-Wilson page? (rather than here) Did he do a Wendy Carlos and keep quiet about it? Or is it just an innocent mistake? Hmm.

Todd Osborn (a.k.a. Soundmurderer, who we are gigging with on the 17th, see news page) has posted "Clone A", a remix album of Radiohead's "Kid A", on his Rewind Records website. It's a 40MB zip file containing 10 MP3s and some cover art. Apparently it's coming down soon so grab it quick.

The times, they are a-changing: Dylan makes his career debut in television commercials, endorsing a new line of frilly bras and knickers. It's just a missed opportunity that he isn't wearing them if you ask me.

Gusset's unprofessional sounding Radio Dialect interview can be downloaded as a two meg MP3 here. It's six minutes long and includes most of the track Multipled Mandibled Man from the forth coming Skidmark e.p. The rest of the show, including two hours of Parasite mixes, can be downloaded here.

I'm just trying out Kinja, which is quite a slick little online blog aggregation service. Very simple to setup if a little erratic in ordering of the posts. It does embed some text ads although they're easily ignored. At least worth a try if you track quite a few sites.

BT blamed (a bit) for Glasto ticket fiasco
(Ooh look, The Register has had a layout redesign, that's much easier to read. When did that happen?)

Gmail, Google's 1GB storage online mail system that was dismissed as an April Fools gag by some last week, has now run into privacy issues. It will scan your mail contents and display targeted advertising.

I think I got my Glastonbury tickets sorted last week. I had to take a backdoor route into the Wayahead server to get there so hopefully that will reach the correct database (I'm hoping it wasn't just a test system) and I should get tickets next month. If you didn't manage to get tickets and, like me, your main motivation for going is The Glade stage, you could do worse than check out The Glade Festival, somewhere outside of Reading (presumably just outside, rather than being as imprecise as saying it's somewhere that isn't Reading) in July. The line-up is still growing but already includes AFX and Squarepusher and an absolute shit load of trance bollocks but you can't win them all eh?

PJ Harvey collaborator and producer Rob Ellis has a new album entitled 'Music for the home vol II' following on from the highly acclaimed 'Music for the home' from 2001. The album is released on April 5th by The Leaf Label. www.robellis.net also features free MP3s and exclusive PJ Harvey photographs from the 'Stories...' tour rehearsals

    Vinyl storage furniture:
Spy Box (larger range, includes 7" boxes which is what I was looking for)
Vinylbox (12" boxes only, but cheaper and local to Bristol)

    Just found this on NTK:
Blair says, "The second point in relation to ID cards is that I think there is no longer a civil liberties objection to that in the vast majority of quarters"
That's the second time in as many months (ish) he's made such statements. I'm so glad he pointed out that there isn't any objection to the war in Iraq anymore, I was beginning to wonder what my views were on it and then he puts it all in perspective for me. Thanks, Tony.
